This 5k Battery Park running route near the Financial District offers views of the Statute of Liberty (at the meeting point) and views of the New Jersey Skyline (across the river). You’ll be running along the Battery Park Esplanade: a pedestrian promenade bordered by the Hudson River on one side and Battery Park and Tribeca on the other side.

Running Groups in Battery Park New York

Depending on what your athletic – or career – goals are, there is a running group for you. My personal favorite is Pitch-And-Run (or PnR for short). PnR meets at Bluestone Lane Coffee Shop at Chelsea Piers every Monday and Friday at 9 am. As the name suggests, it is a run for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to venture capitalists. Started by the Founder of Eniac VC, this group is perfect for anyone eager to spend 45 minutes with a venture capitalist. The pace is conversational but many regulars will be sub-8-minute miles for the 4.8-mile out-and-back run.
